Jakarta: Entrepreneur Michael Bambang Hartono passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 1:15 PM Singapore time. This news was confirmed by Djarum Group Senior Manager for Corporate Communications, Budi Darmawan.
"The PT Djarum family expresses its deepest condolences on the passing of our leader, Michael Bambang Hartono, on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 1:15 PM Singapore time," Budi said via email to Metrotvnews.com on Thursday, March 19, 2026.
Currently, the family is still in the process of arranging Michael Bambang Hartono's body. Regarding burial plans and location, Budi stated that they are still awaiting information from the family.
"Regarding the funeral home and burial, we are still awaiting information from the family," Budi explained.
