Free Health Check Program Reaches 274,925 Residents in Central Jakarta

Jakarta: 274,925 residents in Central Jakarta have received free health checkups through the government’s Free Health Check (CKG) program, meeting the initiative’s second-quarter target.
 
The CKG program aims to provide free health screenings through a network of community health centers (Puskesmas) and healthcare facilities, with the goal of improving early disease detection.
 
“As of July 15, 2026, the program’s coverage for Central Jakarta reached 26.58 percent,” Head of the Central Jakarta Health Sub-agency Ilmi Tri Indiarto said, as quoted by Antara on Thursday, July 16, 2026.
 
He added that the Cempaka Putih District Puskesmas recorded the highest coverage in Central Jakarta at 27.97 percent, while coverage at the Johar Baru District Puskesmas stood at 24.78 percent.
 
To boost participation in the program, Ilmi said his agency would implement a number of strategies, including raising awareness among schoolchildren, collaborating with ministries and institutions, providing services at companies and offices, and engaging in community events such as Car Free Day and Lunar New Year celebrations.
