Indonesia is urging all countries participating in the Bali Democracy Forum to collaborate in promoting global economic equality, in order to boost recovery from the economic effects of the pandemic.
Retno Marsudi, Indonesia's Minister of Foreign Affairs, remarked that unequal economic recovery was partly attributed to the unequal distribution of coronavirus vaccines between low and high income countries.
