Jakarta: The Bogor Regency NasDem Party Regional Leadership Council (DPD) has made history as the first DPD to hold an official event at NasDem Tower in Jakarta. The event, titled "Workshop on Using Media to Win the Hearts of the Public," took place on Sunday, July 20, 2025, in collaboration with the NasDem Party Central Executive Board (DPP) Media Center.
The Secretary General of the NasDem Party, Hermawi Taslim, provided direct guidance. He commended the Bogor Regency NasDem DPD's initiative and called the event a pilot project to strengthen the party's presence and image among the public.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Bogor Regency NasDem DPD, Fritz Rumintjap, emphasized that since his inauguration as the new board, his party has made social media training a top priority for 2025.
"Social media plays a central role today. Before we move further, we must ensure that the board understands how to use media ethically and responsibly for the benefit of the public," he said.
He added that this workshop had been planned since the inauguration of the new leadership. According to him, the media is not just a communication tool, but also a channel for public education and an instrument for building trust in the NasDem Party.
"We hope that all leaders will be able to produce good, ethical, and informative content. Not just conveying information, but also providing a clear understanding to the public," he said.
He emphasized that the Central Executive Board (DPP) has mandated the Regional Representative Council (DPD) to translate the workshop's findings into concrete actions on the ground. One way to do this is by disseminating information through formal media platforms that can be accounted for both their content and sources.
"We don't want the public to receive biased information. Through this training, all leaders will be equipped with the knowledge to write and report accurately and accurately," he emphasized.
Frits aims that within a week after the workshop, all participants will be able to begin producing good and ethical media content as their initial contribution to the party's work that directly impacts the public.
