Singapore: Sriwijaya Capital, a Southeast Asia, focused private equity firm, introduced the first close of its inaugural fund to back growth-stage companies across Indonesia and the region.
The strategy targets businesses in healthcare, energy transition, consumer goods and services, and business services and industrials, with Indonesia serving as the fund’s anchor market and springboard for regional expansion. The platform is now positioned to pursue strategic opportunities across these sectors with immediate capital at hand, following the first close of its inaugural fund.
"We build Sriwijaya Capital with a long-term vision to support companies that can grow into regional champions," said Arsjad Rasjid, Founder and Chairman, as well as a prominent figure in Indonesia’s business community.
"This initiative is part of our commitment to Indonesia and reflects the spirit of Indonesia Incorporated, where the private sector, including investors, works alongside the government as dual engines of national economic progress."
